Finallyyy! I managed finally to write a review on 어린이 훈민정음.
First it’s not a book made for korean learners! It’s an elementary school book for korean students. Therefore not suitable for beginners. So 어린이 훈민정음 does not focus on teaching the language to foreigners. It’s teaching the korean alphabet to korean elementary students. Let’s see if this book can be a good learning material or not.
Let’s start with a little korean history! :D What does 훈민정음 mean? 훈민정음 was the original name of 한글 declared in 1446. 훈민정음 had 28 letters in all, of which only 24 are in use today. (source: 다음 사전)
Now to the book review. Yay :D What I really like about the book is that there are so many different tasks! Many variety. The book never gets boring, really.
